2019 Summer Rep Auditions - The 50th Anniversary Season of the Larry D. Clark Summer Repertory Theatre at MU proudly presents:
Ragtime the Musical

Paid contracts for actors and stage crew! Open to people of ALL races, ethnicities, genders, dialects, abilities and ages. Open to everyone, you do not have to be a theatre major or MU student.
When: 9am, Saturday February 9th (sign-ups begin at 8:30am)
Where: Studio 4, in McKee Gymnasium at 672 Hitt Street
Auditioners: Ragtime auditioners, please prepare 32 bars of a song from a musical in the style of the show. Please bring clearly marked sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. Ragtime callbacks will immediately follow the auditions and will consist of learning and performing a short dance combination, as well as singing and reading from the show. Please bring appropriate attire and shoes for the dance call.
Corduroy auditioners, please prepare a one-minute monologue. Corduroy callbacks will consist of readings from the show and physical theatre movement work. Please bring comfortable clothing and shoes for the movement portion of the callback.
Video auditions: Please submit the required monologue and song via YouTube or Vimeo link emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 9, 2019 for full consideration.
Rehearsals for Ragtime the Musical begin on Monday, June 3rd. Rehearsals will be weekday EVENINGS from 6pm-10pm. There will be some weekend daytime and evening rehearsals closer to opening the show.
Performances: July 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 @ 7pm/July 14, 17 & 21 at 2pm (includes two Wednesday matinees).
Rehearsals for Corduroy begin on Tuesday, May 28th Rehearsals will be Sunday -Friday AFTERNOONS.
Performances: June 19, 20, 21, 22 @ 7pm/June 22, 23 at 2pm.
We will be scheduling interviews for costume and scenic technical positions in early February and will send out a separate call. If you are interested in box office positions, please contact Jabarbara Jennings directly at Jenningsjaba@missouri.edu.
