Open to people of ALL races, ethnicities, genders, dialects, abilities. You do not have to be a theatre major to audition!

Where: Studio 4, McKee Gymnasium, 672 Hitt St
Callbacks: Wed. Nov 7  The Every 28 Hours Plays—Come dressed to move, improvise, and play, 6:30-9:00pm, Studio 4
Thurs. Nov 8  Waiting for Godot—Movement call-backs may start earlier, 6:00-9:00pm, Studio 4
Fri. Nov 9  Additional callbacks, if needed, time TBA
Actors: Tues. Nov 6, please bring a monologue or poem to perform, or read from a provided text.

Scripts can be checked out for 24 hours from the MU theatre office,
129 Fine Arts Building, open 8-5 pm, in the lobby of the Rhynsburger Theatre.

Character Breakdown
The Every 28 Hours Plays: a multi-ethnic, multi-gendered ensemble of ten performers will create multiple     characters, ages, and attitudes
Waiting for Godot: four men and a boy

The Every 28 Hours Plays

A national performance project that takes its name from the shared and contested statistic that every twenty-eight hours a Black person is killed in the US by police or vigilante. It features a performance ensemble that creates multiple one-minute plays.

Waiting for Godot  

Samuel Beckett’s modern classic. Two homeless tramps play games and perform vaudeville acts while waiting for the mysterious Godot to arrive and give their lives purpose.
