Cat (Catherine) Priamos
Cat is an acting instructor and third-year doctoral student with six years of teaching experience. She is a Shakespeare scholar with Creative Writing, English Literature, and English Language expertise, proficient in teaching Elizabethan literature from both English and Theatre focuses. Her dissertation focuses on the use of Meisner acting technique to teach Shakespeare comprehension and performance. She is trained in various acting methods, including Viewpoints Technique, the Stanislavski Method, and Meisner techniques. Her teaching philosophy is holistic, engaged, and focuses on student interaction and collaborative development of ideas. She has over 15 years of experience working with those mentally and/or physically dis/abled and those with special needs.
