Color-conscious casting: For those of you new to this term, it means all actors, regardless of any intersections of one’s race, ethnicity, and gender identity will be considered for roles in this production, and that we are aware of stereotypical casting in the entertainment industry. We wish to offer equitable opportunity to every actor, even as we understand that race matters, and how we cast has the ability to educate and affect critical thinking.
The Rimers of Eldritch: This murder mystery, written by Missouri’s own Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, Lanford Wilson, digs into the dark, decaying heart of mid-western hypocrisy. The production also celebrates the publication of “Lanford Wilson: Early Stories, Sketches, & Poems” and features visits from Wilson’s Tony Award-winning director, Marshall W. Mason, and Tanya Berezin, artistic director of Circle Repertory Theatre.
7:30 pm: Apr 25 – 28, 2:00 pm: Apr 29 at the Rhynsburger Theatre
