Actors: please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue from any classical verse play (Shakespeare, Moliere, etc.). The callbacks will be readings from the script. This is a rather zany comedy with some wild characters, so let that inform your choices. The play is written in contemporary verse or what the author calls “Shakespereanesque” style. Scripts are available for checkout from the Theatre Office. Rehearsals start on Monday, October 5th AFTER Romeo and Juliet closes. Performances will run from November 11-15th.
The play is set in the 90’s and will feature music, theory, culture, theatre, etc. from the era.
