Jamey is a multidisciplinary artist whose career has taken him to six continents and more than 100 productions and venues, with his work garnering six Encore Michigan Wilde Awards, six Travel Weekly Magellan Awards, and a THEA Award along the way. A committed union professional, he serves in national leadership roles with both Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA, and is a two-time Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation Fellow. Jamey holds an MFA from Brown University as a Stephen Sondheim Fellow, a BFA from Roosevelt University as a Newberry Library Fellow, and has earned professional certifications from both the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and Harvard. His research digs into the overlap between museum studies and theatre, examining how these two worlds can inform and transform one another. By weaving together archival work and live performance, he challenges old assumptions and sparks new directions in both fields. Jamey serves as an Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre in the Conservatory at Stephens College in Missouri and Director of Theatre at the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School in Colorado.
