Bio

Olivia Kroh (she/her) is a PhD student researching how liveness interacts with depictions of trauma and violence on stage. She is particularly interested in practice-based research methodologies and engaging with audience reception. In addition to this, she studies the German theatrical tradition with a particular focus on 18th century German Sturm und Drang and Enlightenment plays. A few additional sub-interests of hers include musical theatre and drag performance. Olivia has also been trained in acting, singing, and directing.
