She is strongly interested in researching the relationship between traditional Korean performing arts, such as Korean dance, Changgeuk, and Talchum, and contemporary K-culture content. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Missouri, she explores the historical and cultural significance of Korean traditional arts in a global context. With a background in Korean traditional dance, Hyunjee has performed traditional arts in various countries, and through these experiences, she has gained deep insights into the fusion of contemporary culture and traditional arts.
